If not used otherwise, the big screen in the main audience hall of the Fellowship Festival greeted the visitor with a display of all guest's portraits in cartoon style. Even better: between the panels short animations about - roughly spoken - 'The Great Adventures of Craig and Mark' amused the audience (and gave us some hearty laughs).
Even the two ‘main characters’ were most apparently pleased and seemed to enjoy them much.

Like many others I've found them indescribably charming, they were one of the things that made the Fellowship Festival absolutely special.
Due to a certain lack of faith into the con-movie’s producers, many visitors started to take photos of the animations.
The creator of these cute UpEgo!s is Criz, a young German artist with many talents and a distinct fondness for Kiwis - not exclusively in their human form. Besides drawing, Criz performs many other kinds of visual arts. A visit at her website is highly recommended!!
Criz kindly contributed several of her drawings. Have much fun and many 'Awww!'s watching them!

Criz made these cartoons as a fan and she permitted that they are published here for the enjoyment of other fans. Still she is no less an artist than any of the famous people, so please show her the same respect and fairness. Meaning: it's allowed to copy these cartoons but in case you want to use them for any purpose whatsoever, please ask her first! Criz already has had unpleasant experiences and she deserves to be encouraged to show us more of her work, not disheartened. It's sad enough that I have to write such things, which should be self-evident for everyone, after all.
